Hellebores are wonderful for winter interest, with nodding heads in shades of green, white, pink or reds.
This is a 10x10 inch (25.5 x25.5 cms) mixed media painting on a cradled wooden panel. The materials used include acrylic paint, ink, pastel and metal leaf. The surface of the painting is protected by 3 coats of varnish and finished with a layer of polished wax for a lovey soft sheen.
